Poached egg, Tomatoes, avocado on Sourdough toast


Breakfast in my humble opinion it’s the most important meal of the day. Breaking the fast from all night sleeping, feeding the body to give it some energy for the day that it’s just beginning.

At home we are big on breakfasts, it’s family time, no matter how late it is, or how grumpy we are. The table gets set, the kettle is on. Everyone has their jobs, getting the spreads out, cutting the bread, laying the table, making some coffee or hot drink, is a ritual and is lovely.

This is our most to go breakfast choice. Poached egg on toast.

It doesn’t need to come with the ingredients below, but certainly makes it worth while. Other combinations can be fresh spinach with avo, or with smoked salmon with a dash of lemon, or cooked garlic mushrooms if you have the time… the options are endless and are all delicious!
